ABOUT ECLIPSE MENTIONED BY AMMIAN MARCELLIN
In Morozov (1) on p. 351 in chapter II-VII is going about eclipses mentioned in Ammianus Marcellinus.
Ammian Marcellin writes (2) (3, 54):
"In this time in those countries sky covered by mist seemed to haze, and from dawn till afternoon stars was glimmer nonstoping. And to those horrors added that sky light was waited, informated clevers thought that Sun was eclipsed longer that proper owfully removing light from the peolple look. At first Sun had deminished till image of horn Moon, then increased till afternoon and finally returned to whole"
In this place marcelin describes battles held in Messopotamia.
So few material for precise problem solution because of we can find many eclipses for this descripion.
