ABOUT ECLIPSES, MENTIONED IN TACITUS
1. In Morozov in (1) on p. 383 in chapter IV-VII is going about Moon eclipse mentioned in chronicles Tacitus (2), (3, 23):
"Pannonian legion had revolted, when they have heard of death an August (referred to 18 August) and about projects Tiverius. But awesome darkness, which was to break the crime, has softened the accident. Moon on clear sky was shown suddenly weakened. Unaccustomed to thinkings soldiers have taken this for sign liing ahead disaster...."
There is possible consider that from moment a death an August before that moment, as news about this reached to the Pannonian legions, passed little time (not more month).
The chronological speech goes according to traditional history about 14 n.e. We according to canon Krasilinikova write all eclipses, having place in gap from 18 August before September 18 in table 1.
Table 1.
14/09/27 04:23
23/09/18 03:16
34/09/16 19:44
42/09/18 03:27
and so on. With density approximately eight eclipses on century. For 14 n.e. no passing eclipses not to observe (the mentioned eclipse in table is morning one, helding before sunrising, word "Moon on clear sky was shown suddenly weakened" obviously not for it), from what we can draw a conclusion about nonconfirmness of Tacitus as source.
Once more about this eclipse possible to read in Dion Cassius.
2.In Morozov in (1) on p. 390 in chapter IV-XII is going solar eclipse mentioned in Tacitus annales (2, XIV, 12), (3, 39):
"Sun was suddenly upstaged, and were impressed lightning with the sky 14 sides a city".
Accepted to consider that the same eclipse that in Plinius and Dion Cassius in chapter 6. There about this and there is detailed.
