ABOUT ECLIPSE MENTIONED IN ARRIAN
In Morozov (1) on p. 337 in chapter I-XX is going about eclipse mentioned in Arrian's Anabasis (2):
"When Alexander made halt to his troops (i.e. in evening, and may be in night, because in evening is often brightly and Moon is visible not always - author's remark), the major Moon part became dark. Such was the end of the war by the athenian archont Aristophan in Pianepsion month".
The Pianepsion month of Athen kalendar according to (3, p.124) aproximately coincides with october of Julian kalendar.
About this eclipse is going in Plutarch, Ptolemeus, Plinius in "Historia Natur", Curcius
There are no oportunities to solute its eclipse dating problem precisely.
