ABOUT ECLIPSES, MENTIONED IN KSENOFONT
1. In Morozov in (1) on p. 419 in chapter VI-II is going about solar eclipse mentioned in Xenophon's "Anabazise" (2), (5, 3):
"This city (Larissa and is waked on river a Tiger, rather then in Greece) was surrounded by persian reign (Kir i.e. mister on-greek), when persian wanted to deprive the power from midiens.. Then cloud has closed the sun, remained unencountered so long that people abandoned the city, and it was will take".
The greater number of solutions are possible.
2. Beside Morozova in (1) on p. 425 in chapter VI-IX is going about Moon eclipse mentioned in Xenophon's "Hellenica" (3), (5, 10):
"Next year, after at night was a Moon eclipse and old temple Athens has burned; burnted under ethoe Pitiase and athenian archont Kalliase, have sent macedonians to Lizandr Kallikratid, as chief a fleet".
No full given for reliable dating.
3. Beside Morozova in (1) on p. 425 in section VI-X is going about solar eclipse mentioned in Xenephon's "Hellenica" Ksenofonta (4), (5, 10-11):
"In this time at day of solar eclipse has won Licophon Fereius that from Fessalii which have raised an objection to it, in the same way, either as larisians and others in this battle, and has killed many".
Frosts voices the suggestion that about he speaks and Seneca. Speaks it also about that that historians this eclipse refer to the first year 94-y Olympiad i.e. to year -403. However in this year of solar eclipse was not.
But saying in general, no no real reasons for exact dating.
4. Beside Morozova in (1) on p. 427 in chapter VI-XII is going about once more solar eclipse mentioned in Xenophon's "Hellenica" (4):
"In that time, as Agezilay wanted to hit upon country of beotians turned out to be that sun tooked type a sickle".
Mentioned incomplete solar eclipse. No given for its serious dating no.
